Our Programmes
A secure, homely space for little learners
J. Shalom Childcare is a warm, friendly, and homely setting welcoming children from 0 months to 5 years old. We offer a range of programmes designed to support every stage of your child’s growth and development.
Care is delivered in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by qualified, dedicated practitioners who are committed to helping each child reach their full potential. For added security, 24‑hour CCTV operates around the exterior of the building.

Babies
Babies are cared for by specially trained and qualified staff who provide attentive, nurturing, and responsive care. Our baby environment is warm, stimulating, and rich in interaction, offering sensory experiences, early communication activities, and plenty of comfort and reassurance.
We work closely with parents and carers, maintaining regular communication to ensure consistency between home and nursery routines. This partnership approach helps your baby feel secure and supported as they grow.
Toddlers
Our toddler programme encourages exploration, independence, and early learning through play. Children enjoy a variety of age‑appropriate activities that support language development, physical skills, creativity, and social interaction. Practitioners guide children gently as they begin to express themselves, build friendships, and develop confidence.

Preschool
Our preschool programme prepares children for a smooth and confident transition to school. We maintain close links with local primary schools and provide a high standard of early education that supports early literacy, numeracy, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Children leaving J. Shalom Childcare are well‑prepared emotionally, socially, and academically for the next stage of their learning journey.
Breakfast & Afterschool Club
We also offer a breakfast and afterschool club for children. Working in partnership with parents and local authorities, we provide reliable, high‑quality wraparound care that meets the needs of each child.
Children enjoy a relaxed, friendly environment with opportunities for homework support, creative activities, outdoor play, and social time with peers.

Extra‑Curricular Activities
Children benefit from a local park directly opposite the building and a large outdoor play area on‑site, giving them plenty of space to run, explore, and enjoy physical activity. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily routine, supporting children’s health, wellbeing, and development.
