Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of childcare services provided by J.Shalom Childcare.

 

1. About Us

J.Shalom Childcare provides childcare and early years education services in London for children aged 3 months to 12 years.

 

2. Registration

Parents/carers must:

  • Complete all registration forms accurately

  • Provide emergency contact details

  • Disclose medical conditions, allergies, and additional needs

  • Update information promptly if circumstances change

 

3. Fees and Payments

  • Fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed

  • Late payments may incur additional charges

  • Persistent non-payment may result in suspension of childcare services

  • Fees remain payable during absences, holidays, or sickness unless otherwise agreed in writing

 

4. Opening Hours

J.Shalom Childcare operates Monday to Saturday. Published operating hours may vary and are displayed on the website.

We reserve the right to close during:

  • Bank holidays

  • Staff training days

  • Emergencies

  • Severe weather or circumstances beyond our control

 

5. Late Collection

Parents/carers must collect children promptly.

Late collection charges may apply where a child is collected after agreed hours.

If a child is not collected and we cannot contact a parent/carer or emergency contact, safeguarding procedures may be followed.

 

6. Illness and Medication

Children who are unwell or infectious must not attend the setting.

Medication will only be administered:

  • with written parental consent,

  • in original packaging,

  • and where appropriate documentation is provided.

 

7. Safeguarding

J.Shalom Childcare has a legal duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Where concerns arise regarding a child’s welfare, we may contact relevant safeguarding authorities in accordance with UK law and EYFS requirements.

 

8. Behaviour

We promote positive behaviour and respectful conduct.

Aggressive, abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour towards staff or other families will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

 

9. Personal Belongings

Parents/carers should clearly label children’s belongings.

J.Shalom Childcare cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal items.

 

10. Photography and Media

Photographs may be used for:

  • learning journals,

  • developmental observations,

  • and nursery displays.

Separate parental consent will be requested for marketing or social media use.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable care to provide a safe environment, J.Shalom Childcare shall not be liable for:

  • events beyond reasonable control,

  • loss of personal belongings,

  • or indirect losses arising from service interruption.

Nothing excludes liability for negligence causing death or personal injury.

 

12. Website Use

Users of our website agree not to:

  • misuse the website,

  • attempt unauthorised access,

  • upload malicious material,

  • or interfere with site functionality.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
